GIP and some color/b&w icons

First off, we have a Frodo GIP.

*sighs*

The big thing at the moment are mixed color/b&w icons, which my mind has labeled 'Pleasantville' icons. And since I occasionally jump on trend trains:

Oddly enough, in the Buffy icons, I had color for the people, whereas with *nsync, it was either clothing or, in one case, that orange ball. Have no clue if that means anything.

All icons are sharable.

Well, I have Adobe, so I'm not sure if it'll work the same.

And there's more than one way to do it. This is just my way.

What I do is select what I want in b&w and then I desaturate it until the color is gone. Other people, as I understand it, do things with filters.

Try it with grey scales and layers.

What you do is, have two of the same images and make one greyscale. Increase the color depth to the highest it can go on the greyscale image, copy the original image and paste it on top of the greyscale, then, just erase what you want to be grey. :)
I hope that makes sense. :\
