Consider this a life update:

Tonight, I'm going to my mom's and I'm taking this season of Angel. Yay!

Watching alone is fun, but it's always more enjoyable with company. Plus, occasionally my mom has some great insights, since she sees the characters in a much different, much less attached way.

Time passes so quickly. There's never enough.

Darla was right - even four hundred years wouldn't be long enough for all there is to do in this world. At times like this, I do envy vampires. Can you imagine actually having the time to sit down and read every wonderful book ever written? That would be absolute paradise.

My heaven, I imagine, will have a large library. With all the interesting books and movies in the world contained there - all in perfect condition. And I'd be able to read every language, so they'd all be originals.

And I'd read in a golden green meadow where life is all around me. I'd rest on moss, under a huge tree... oak, perhaps, and read deep books and light books both.

Of course, heaven wouldn't be complete without stimulating conversation. If all you do is read and reflect, you can only explore your own inner self. Other people are a necessary, though they'd need be respectful of the animals and plants of my meadow.

And I'd have a wide-screen tv... hovering in mid-air, so that it doesn't disturb the ground. And it could come with its own darkness bubble, so that I could watch films and shows in the correct atmosphere.

That would be heaven to me.

Thanks!

Ooh! Firefly! I also want to slash Crichton from Farscape with Alex Krycek or Methos. Wouldn't that be a whole lot of pretty?

Mmm, pretty. I've never watched Farscape or X-Files, but I've heard a lot about Crichton and Krycek.
