Have gotten the second disk from netflix. That awful 'reproductive organs' line from Carter is on the cast and crew featurette. Honestly, she jumps to that conclusion with so little proof as to be laughable -- he objects to having another scientist and she immediately assumes that the subtext is 'a woman'. Issues, man. Serious issues (Out of sheer curiosity, are there any fics dealing with said issues. Not that I'm interested. At all. I'm just curious. It's not a crime.)

Also, I totally think that they changed "Shar'uri" to "Sha're" because the second one is just damn easier to say, especially if you need someone to be yelling it.

I have been told that this is the first episode for Janet Frasier. Yay! I look forward to seeing the pretty again for the first time (Yes, I'm utterly objectifying her, but since I plan to do the same to Daniel, I figure that it's a little less wrong. Also? She is really pretty).

Why in the world aren't they taking everything dangerous out of those cells?

I liked the episode very much.

On a different note, I am now the state of panic over my ds_undercover story that presages actually getting it written (I tend to write deadlined stories in a state of panicked "oh, fuck, it's due tomorrow").
