Just read all of the previous fics, and they're all amazing. You take the bitterness they showed us so briefly in Daniel and run with it beautifully. I particularly love the dynamic you set up between him and Alt!Sam and Alt!Jack... the way Sam wants so desperately to help, but she's all wrong, and it's not her fault, but it's so hard for Daniel. And the way Alt!Jack really is so close to being our Jack, but not close enough, and how that kills Daniel even more. Absolutely heartbreaking.
