Good or bad, Threads is certainly prompting a lot of discussion, which is something that I always enjoy.

And have I mentioned my glee at being part of a living fandom again? I'm thrilled, too, that Atlantis is perking up and will hopefully be a source of joy and fandom when SG-1 ends (possibly after the ninth season, but who knows, as they always think the next season is the last).

I'm also finding BSG to be a really interesting show but... I don't feel fannish about it. I just want to watch it and don't care about dissecting it.

I have not watched the shows from last night yet. I told [livejournal.com profile] lovekeller that it looks like Daniel might have died again. She rolled her eyes at me and defended her position of not following SG-1. I hope Threads is as good as the activity I am seeing on LJ today. Atlantis rules as far as I am concerned. It seems all the creative energy from early SG-1 season has been siphoned into SGA. In fact, SGA is the only show that I actually look forward to anymore. It is the show that consistently performs. I am a bit like you with BSG. I don't know how I feel yet. I follow it because there is so little Scifi out there. It is interesting enough to keep me watching, but I don't feel particularly passionate about anyone or anything on the show. The only character I have the slightest interest in is Starbuck.

I've really been enjoying most of this season on SG-1, honestly. The only episode that I dislike was Gemini. Part of it is that I really do adore the characters -- Daniel, especially -- so very much.

SGA has really impressed me in the last few episodes. Teyla and Weir have really improved and the characters all feel more real. I'm really starting to like it quite a lot.

BSG I've found interesting in content, but I haven't connected to it yet.
