It's interesting that Luke picks up right away on the fact that something has changed between Anakin and Obi-Wan. :)
I do like how you write Luke's preceptions of and in the Force. That gives us head-blind folks a bit better idea of what it must be like.
For Luke, the empty halls around them rang with noise. Betrayal hung heavy in the air, and fear whispered in between the cracks. Every hallway they passed seemed to hold its own set of voices, calling out for aid that had never arrived and spitting out words of surprise and pain.
So tragic.
The dominant feeling in the room was one of anger and… it felt familiar. Luke glanced over at Anakin and wasn’t surprised to see him looking pale and sick again.
One can only suspect DV went "mad" in the library because it might have held the clue to saving Padme, if only he had been a Master and could have accessed it.
“I just doubt that it’s that simple,” Luke said.
Even Luke is astute enough to realize this. Anakin's stubborness is going to get him in trouble. Again.
