What Isabel and Katherine knew was not nearly enough to prepare you for dealing with Damon and Alaric. Sheez. It doesn't seem to have occurred to any of those three that Damon and Alaric have been away from Katherine and Isabel long enough to have changed. Significantly. Or did Isabel and Katherine simply assume no change was possible?
