Elena has a very 'vampirish' way of looking at the world now, which has happened due to her exposure to both Stefan and Damon and has been fascinating to track as her lines get redrawn. I love that moment in the season finale where Uncle John is saying that he will let all those vampires die and Elena's reaction is 'DO NOT WANT' when John tries to stop her from rescuing her OTHER vampire boyfriend.

Exactly. Her moral perspective has really changed in a relatively short period of time (has anyone worked out exactly how much time has passed so far? Or is the show too vague for it to be known?)

*nods* Bonnie is going to be a better person when she can lay blame where it should rest - but she is proving in recent episodes that she CAN put all of that aside and work on Team Salvatore- because this is US vs. THEM and like it or not, THEM includes the end of the world stuff.

Yeah. I've been enjoying seeing her do that in the more recent episode. It's nice to be firmly back on Team Yay! Bonnie.
