So, I've watched the first four episodes of The Sentinel. I like it. It's got that zing-bang-boom connection between two people, which is essential in my television viewing. And Blair Sandburg's voice is not what I was expecting. I don't know what I was expecting, but that wasn't it. I quite like him.

Jim was pretty much exactly what I was expecting (probably helped out by the fact that I have seen the actor before), in ways that made me very happy.

So, yes, I like it. I will possibly have more thoughts when I've finished up the season. (What's with only having ten episodes, anyway? Who only has ten episodes?)

It was a first season on UPN. They weren't taking any chances. :-)

Ah. Do you know how many episodes the second season has?

Seasons 2 & 3 had a regular amount of episodes, 22-24. Season 4 was also a short season, with only 8.

Several people on the flist have mentioned TS since the DVDs came out. I've been thinking of giving it a try myself. I'll be interested in reading your thoughts on The Sentinel.

I'm interested in checking it out. There's a lot of cross-over between the fandoms for TS and DS, so I'm hopeful that I'll continue to like the show. I'll definitely continue to comment on it.

Heee you're getting into TS? Lovely news :-) And yes, that show is all about the characters, isn't it? Despite its flaws I love that show so much because of the relationship between Jim and Blair *g* And the rest of the gang, as well, of course...

It really is. And were my ears deceiving me or did Jim actually call Blair cooking for him a 'courtship ritual' in that episode where Blair moves in? Because that is seriously cute.

The third episode made me blink a bit, because I was going, "But Jim was just kissing his ex-wife two episodes ago! No wonder she's jealous."

I'm seeing where the Daniel-Blair comparisons come in... mostly in how the characters are way tougher than some of their fans portray them.

Lol Your ears weren't deceiving you, Jim did call it a courtship ritual :-)

If you're tempted by the fandom, let me know, I'll point you to the right direction *g*
