The Sentinel: first impressions
May. 5th, 2006 04:18 amSo, I've watched the first four episodes of The Sentinel. I like it. It's got that zing-bang-boom connection between two people, which is essential in my television viewing. And Blair Sandburg's voice is not what I was expecting. I don't know what I was expecting, but that wasn't it. I quite like him.
Jim was pretty much exactly what I was expecting (probably helped out by the fact that I have seen the actor before), in ways that made me very happy.
So, yes, I like it. I will possibly have more thoughts when I've finished up the season. (What's with only having ten episodes, anyway? Who only has ten episodes?)

I'm seeing where the Daniel-Blair comparisons come in... mostly in how the characters are way tougher than some of their fans portray them.
