On what planet, in what universe does someone think that RTD would actually write that story into Doctor Who? First, that’s a story in which the Doctor would be an incredible bastard and second, Doctor Who is a family show and that’s, well, a rather adult concept, isn’t it? Just. No.
Plus, did we not learn in the first few minutes of Ten’s regeneration that he was rude and not ginger? If he wanted to get rid of Rose, he would have dumped her in TCI when he could have done so with little to no guilt. Easily blamed on the regeneration and been gone. Or, he could have dumped her again in SR, or GitF or how about RotC/AoS? Now there was a perfect example of him being rude and not leaving her when he could have. He practically fell over himself to warn her about Pete. You’re telling me that was because he was being polite? And what? Making fun of Rose the dog was sparing Rose’s feelings? Really? Ummm, okay. And he burned up a sun because he was bored, right? Had nothing to do with Rose. Oh come on people!
This from the same man who left Jack behind because he was wrong? Manners? Must be some special Time Lord code then because I’m seriously not getting it.
But let’s get into S3. All that emo? What was that about? I’d really like to know. Was that because he wasn’t polite enough to her in S2? He didn’t open enough doors? Didn’t say thank you enough times? Dropped an etiquette book on her toes?
Um, DiM/EoD – did he burp once in her presence and he’s punishing himself by letting the Daleks have first crack?
Just seriously. Do folks who write this crazy meta think first or just sort of spew it out there and hope it sticks?
