They aren't allowed to kill Owen.

So, I enjoyed both the episodes (Adam was a creepy, creepy alien!), but I would like to say, very firmly, that Owen is not allowed to stay dead. Since they've brought people back before, I'm going to believe that the team will bring him back. Especially after the 'I heart you all' thing that Jack did with them in "Adam". He promised to save Owen. I'm just saying. Sure, he was meaning it in a more emotionally-based way at the time, but he still said it.

I really enjoyed Martha in "Reset". She blended well with the team -- had some good ideas but didn't try to overpower anyone and she had chemistry with people. It was really nice. I especially enjoyed her interactions with Owen -- he seemed really happy to have someone there who understood his stuff.

Owen's the character that's gone through the most character growth over the last season and a half, and Burn is their best actor. I refuse to believe that they'll kill him off.

I doubt they would let him stay dead, but I would rather they did.

I have nothing against Owen, but I don't like it when Sci Fi shows go too far down the route of 'everything can be fixed!' I think fantastical shows need that balance. But, that is just my two cents.

I would also not have minded seeing Janto having to keep struggling with what was put in his mind. Though, I am glad Tosh was able to get amnesia. Especially after episode 6 I am kinda tired of seeing her getting dumped on by the writers.

If writers ignore Tosh again until she gets another 'OMG I've found love ... oh, no, s/he has...!' episode I am going to open a dimensional portal, rip her out of Torchwood and bring her here and I will pay attention to the poor girl.

Yes, to everything you said about Martha. Plus, that actress is just delightful. I love her accent; she has such a wide range of facial expressions and gestures and her delivery is just spot-on. She makes technobabble seamless and she's also got a great rack.

I would have been more upset about the shooting of Owen if they hadn't shot every character on the show five times already. People seem to get shot in the torso and be fine an awful lot around here, I'm just saying. I don't think he's dead (especially since the resurrection glove's partner's still out there somewhere), but I would not put it past this show to shoot itself in the foot by killing a character just as I was starting to like him.
